GARDEN CEREMONY MUSIC

 

An accoustic String Ensemble is the perfect accompaniement to your Garden Wedding - where you do not need to bring CD players, Poweer Supplies etc.

Imagine your guests hearing the sounds of one of our string ensembles helping to guide your guests to the Ceremony location, and then being serenaded by the most romantic instruments ever created during your special ceremony.

We are able to travel to venues such as The Royal Botanical Gardens, Parramatta Park, Nielsen Park, Darook Park, Balmoral Rotunda, Bicentennial Park, Cameilia Gardens, outside your reception venue, private yards and even on the deck of a boat!

Typically a Garden wedding has a more relaxed feel, and we reflect this in the music by playing pieces that people want to hear! With a mix from the Classical selections through to some Jazz, Gypsy, Love Balads, Pop, and Rock.

The team at weddingceremonymusic.com.au are exceptionally qualified to provide music for such occasions. Not only do we have the music you want to hear, but also we come prepared with:

Pegs (to stop the music flying in the wind)

Heavy Duty Music Stands (again to stop the music falling over with a noisy, and distracting "Thud")

Chairs (for the musicians who sit - our Chairs are also 'garden friendly')

Outdoor Instruments (which do not object to playing in a little of sun. Also note that our Cellists and Bass players all have the relevant 'spike protection' to avoid the instruments digging the gardens up)

Umbrellas (so if there is a slight sprinkling, one musician can hold the umbrella over the other so the music can continue).

 

A TYPICAL GARDEN CEREMONY

PRE-CEREMONY

- We arrive 30 minutes prior to when guests are due to start arriving

- We start to play as your guests begin to arrive (usually 15-20minutes prior to Bridal Arrival)

- Music is a 'mixed programme' something for everyone to help create a bubly and excited atmosphere for the Ceremony

CEREMONY

Wedding Ceremony music has plays an incredibly important role in proceedings, and the music that is chosen, will be rembered forever, along with being the music that will be heard on any Videos from the event!

We work to specifically cater music for the:

- Flower Girls

- Brides Maids

- Bridal Entry

- Candle Lighting Ceremony

- Signing of the Registrar

- Hymns

- Recessional/Presentation

All pieces, and portions of the ceremony are catered to your own musical tastes. Please see some of our Music Requests for ideas.

(we recommend that if the ceremony is being filmed to pick one song from the ceremony that is especially special, and have the Videographer film us playing this piece before the guests arrive - that way the sound quality will be at its best, and you will have us playing for the wedding Videos!)

POST CEREMONY

The official portion of the day is over, let the party begin! The music should reflect this.

Typically we perform 10 to 15 minutes of celebratory music as people have drinks, mill about and congratulate the bridal party.

FURTHER INFORMATION:

Most Garden Ceremonies fit within the one hour booking time. We do however recommend booking us for 1.5hours to allow for any unforseeable delays.
